Moving and New Job
For those of you who are unaware, we are moving to Old Orchard Beach this weekend. We found a nice condo to rent. It is much bigger and a lot more modern. I will add pictures once we move in. We have been looking for about 6 months or so, so we are glad that we held out b/c it was love at first sight when we saw this place. There are so many pros to this place. No more computer in the living room, 2 full baths (plus .5 bath), hardwood floors, brand new appliances and so on.
Also, I start a new nanny position on August 1st. It's in Portland. Nice Nice people...the baby is a 12 week old girl named Natalie. Aidan will be going with me all, but 1 or 2 days a week. Full time....YAY!!
So that's about it for now............
Oh yeah, if anyone has advice on feeding a 14 month old who over night has turned fussy, please feel free. Aidan used to eat everything, ever since his ear infection, we fight at lunch and dinner!!!

Back from Deposit
It is Monday and we are back from Deposit, a day early, we returned last night at 9:00pm. What a trip! Jeremy's parents could not find a rental, so they are forced to live in their house. Which is livable, but just barely. They are basically living on the 2nd floor. Jeremy's dad (with the help of Uncle Rich) has been working tirelessly on repairing....there is just so much to do! When we left they had just finished ripping apart the kitchen down to the 2 by 4's. Jeremy didn't want to leave, but we are moving in 2 weeks and had to get our pack on, plus Jeremy needs to get back to work.
Let's talk about our little man...Aidan survived the 7.5 hour ride. The way down wasn't so bad. He took 2 naps....about 1.5 hours each. When he got cranky we sang songs and that made him feel a bit better. He was pretty good at the hotel, except for the going to sleep part. The first night we had a little disagreement and it took a while to fall asleep. The second night I realized that the desk chair rocked a little bit and it made it easier. He enjoyed meeting some of his extended family. All of Jeremy's cousins have kids and most of them are under 5. He also got to hang out with Austin, our nephew who is 1 and a half. They really didn't play together, they played around each other. Aidan loves his new word.....GRAMMA. Which he would only say once or twice while we were there, but said non stop in the car on the drive home. Speaking of the car ride home, not so great. He took a long nap in the beginning, but once he was awake he was mad mad mad!!! We ran out of songs to sing. I had to pull "little bunny foo foo" and "10 little monkeys jumping on the bed" out of my tired head. As Jeremy predicted Aidan fell asleep 10 minutes from home. We had to wake him up to give him his antibiotics and then he didn't back to sleep until almost midnight!!!! He seems to be in much better spirits now.....so we are hoping his ears are cleared up. The next challenge is getting him to eat all the foods he refused while he was sick....wish me luck!!

Flooding Pictures
Now I do not have pictures of the actual flood, just the aftermath!! The picture of the porch is how high it got outside, in their front yard...the yard slopes a bit. You can faintly see the water line....right at the top of the wall. I guess it was about 5 feet high. The picture of the inside is after they tore all flooring up and ripped off the sheetrock that needed to be replaced. The one of the building outside is directly across the street from Jeremy's parent's house. It is a data entry type company and everything will need to be gutted and replaced. Very depressing!!

Snot-itus
So, Aidan is sick once again. He has, as I like to call it, snot -itus. He goes to daycare once a week and picks up every sickness there is. I need to find a daycare that has a sick policy. This morning I went in to get him and his eyes were crusted shut, he had snot all over his face and was pretty mad about it all. I can not take any pictures of the sick little one b/c the camera is with Jeremy.
Disaster in Deposit, NY
Jeremy is in Deposit with his family. He is helping tear up floors, haul furniture out on the front lawn and to support his family. He is a good son!! For those of you who are unaware of what happened....i will let you know. Jeremy's hometown Deposit New York, flooded last week. His parent's basement filled up with water and then they had 2 to 3 feet of water in their first floor. Now that everything is ripped up, they will probably have to wait for insurance adjusters to come in and evaluate. They lost most (if not all) of their appliances and furniture on the first floor. They probably will not be living there for a month or so. When Jeremy comes home with the camera, I will post some pictures. If you pray, please pray for them!!!!!
