A Very Proud Mama

We went to Aidan's 15 month old physical today. It went well!! He is in the 25 percentile for weight and the 10th percentile for height. The doctor said he was and I quote "extremely bright, very charming and very coordinated for a 15 month old"....What a proud Mama I am!!

Update on us...

Jeremy is still at the Inn, staying until the end. He works too much in my opinion, but that is one of the many qualities I love about him. Oh yeah, he has a new found love of golf...strange!!

I am doing ok. Baby Natalie is getting better, but still crying for chunks of time. Hopefully she will cry less and less with time. She is a sweet baby all and all. I end up carrying her around in a front pack a lot. It is easier to feed Aidan that way and get bottles made.

We are getting settled into our new place....all living areas are unpacked. At some point we just have to get the basement in order.

Any mothers have secret remedies for diaper rash?? My niece has a pretty bad one. I always found Cornstarch and Boudreaux's Butt Paste to work.

It was such a riot to watch Aidan walk in sneakers for the first time. One picture is when I first put them on and the second picture is after he had tried walking around a bit.

The arrival of Piper Rose Rickman

On Tuesday, August 15th at 2:18am, Piper Rose Rickman was born. What an incredible experience!! Jenyse went into labor around 6:00pm and starting pushing at 2:08am. Jenyse was a superstar, 10 minutes of pushing, WOW!! I watch the head come out, it was such a beautiful moment! Piper weighed in at 7lbs 14in and she was 20.5 inches long. I have a bunch of picture,s but can not post until I find my cable for my camera. It is still packed and we have no idea where it is.

Lots more happened that night, but I will get into that next time!!

Early Mornings

I have been at my new nanny job for about 2 weeks. There are good days and there are not so good days. The baby, Natalie, is hard to figure out. She cries a lot, but that is what babies do. Sometimes, she cries for a couple of minutes and sometimes it is a couple of hours (or all day). I am trying to get use to these 5:30 mornings, yuck!!

We are still getting settled in our new place....mostly unpacked.

I feel like I haven't had a whole lot of time for anything lately. My little sister, Jenyse, is about to have her baby. She was due Sunday August 6th, but that baby wants to stay on the inside. I will definitely post picks of the newest addition when she finally decides it is time to face the world.
